Though Joan is unsettled by the eccentric guest musical director's penchant for making major plot and song changes as the debut of their oddball zombie uprising musical quickly approaches, she's most alarmed by his eleventh-hour pronouncement that she do the newly created key solo performance. Additionally, as Joan and Adam work on the musical in separate capacities that suit their own talents, they continue their animated conversations about possibly attending the same college. Meanwhile, Kevin and Will disagree on whether Kevin should reconcile with Andy after the seemingly contrite Andy chooses to drop the lawsuit against the Girardis.
