"Daedalus" -- The crew welcomes Emory Erickson, the inventor of the transporter device, on board for a series of experiments to test a radical upgrade to the technology, but once Enterprise reaches the test site, Archer realizes that his old family friend has lied and is using the ship to search for his son, lost years before in a transporter misfire, on STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE, Friday, January 14 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. David Straiton directed the episode from a script by Alan Brennert and Ken LaZebnik.

Meanwhile, T'Pol begins to reexamine her Vulcan heritage in the wake of her mother's death.
