"Sorry I Missed You" -- Amy oversees a case involving a 5-year-old girl who is at the center of a custody battle between the girl's 21-year-old half sister and their parents, on JUDGING AMY, Tuesday, April 5 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Alan Myerson directed the episode from a script written by KJ Steinberg.
Jennifer Esposito ("Spin City") returns as Crystal Turner, a social worker who runs an outreach program for teenage runaways. Tess Harper ("Christy") guest stars as a foster parent, who is forced to relinquish the child she has been raising for many years to his biological mother.
During the custody hearing, Amy tries to get to the root of why the girl's half-sister feels so strongly about removing the child from her home. Meanwhile, Maxine tries to broker a deal between a foster and a biological mother of a young boy so that both can keep the child in their lives.
