Also, A Standup Comedian Whose Funny Looks Were the Butt of His Own Jokes and a Patient Coordinator Who Dreams of Being a Plastic Surgeon Have Their Lives and Looks Transformed

"Episode 318" - Witness the first celebrity Mom mini-makeover of Linda, a 55-year-old custodian from suburban Chicago, IL and mother of comedic actress/author Jenny McCarthy ("Scary Movie 3," TV's "Jenny," the upcoming series "The Bad Girl's Guide.") Plus, catch the extreme makeovers of Steve, a 49-year-old standup comedian from Los Angeles and Ryann, a 24-year-old patient coordinator from Huntington Beach, CA, on "Extreme Makeover," THURSDAY, MARCH 31 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Editors please note: This episode was originally scheduled to air March 24, but was replaced on that evening by episodes of "Jake in Progress."

Steve and Ryann were given the opportunity of a lifetime, as they were able to change their appearances through the skills of an "Extreme Team," including plastic surgeons and cosmetic dentists, talented team of hair and makeup artists, stylists and personal trainers. In addition, participants recuperate at the "Makeover Mansion," the new luxurious mansion tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, CA, complete with stunning views, a swimming pool, fully equipped home gym and big screen televisions.

Jenny McCarthy needs a makeover? No, but her deserving Mom gets a mini-makeover. Jenny's mother, Linda, works as a custodian in a Chicago area court house and refuses to quit her job. She is the hard working mother of four children and two step children, and has always been there for Jenny, from the early days when she dropped out of nursing school to pursue acting and to her present success as an actress and author. Now Jenny surprises Linda with the celebrity treatment by whisking her away to Hollywood for a head-to toe-hair/makeup/wardrobe mini-makeover courtesy of stylist Sam Saboura and the "Extreme Team" experts.

Then meet Steve, a standup comedian who's been on with the best of them, from Leno and Letterman to Carson. Steve used his looks (or rather lack of looks) in his comedy act for years. As soon as he walked on stage, he'd receive not so funny comments from tough audiences regarding his lack of chin and big nose. Now he feels the self deprecating act is getting old and is ready to move on with a new life and act. See how the "Extreme Team" helps this tired comedian get that new act together.

Steve's procedures included a nose job, face lift, upper eyelid lift, chin implant, liposuction under chin, Strabismus surgery (eye muscle surgery for crossed eyes), LASIK eye surgery, laser hair removal, Fotofacials, milia extractions (deep pore cleansing), gingival re-contouring, 9 da Vinci porcelain veneers and Zoom whitening.
