NAOMI MAKES JAKE THROW HER A FAKE "SURPRISE" BIRTHDAY PARTY, ON ABC'S "JAKE IN PROGRESS"

"Harpy Birthday" - Jake finds himself put to the test when Naomi goads him into throwing a fake "surprise" birthday party for her to help soften her dragon lady image. But things go from bad to worse when he accidentally admits to an influential gossip columnist just how difficult Naomi really is to work for -- and she threatens to print it -- on "Jake in Progress," airing THURSDAY, APRIL 7 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Jake in Progress" stars John Stamos as Jake, Ian Gomez as Adrian, Rick Hoffman as Patrick and Wendie Malick as Naomi.

Guest starring are David Hornsby as Ken, Margaret Welsh as Caitlin, Lisa Banes as Valerie Page, Veronica Diaz as Estella, Susanna Thompson as Emma Taylor, Karen Kim as Tina, Tracey Leigh as Ginger, Mark Ankeny as the man and Vince Chao as the waiter.

"Harpy Birthday" was written by Stephen Lloyd and directed by Jeff Melman.

"Jake in Progress" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
