THE DISCOVERY OF NINE HUMAN SKULLS LEAD RUSH AND VALENS BACK
TO A SERIAL KILLER WHO PREVIOUSLY SLIPPED THROUGH THEIR FINGERS, ON THE SECOND SEASON FINALE OF "COLD CASE," SUNDAY, MAY 22
"The Woods" -- Rush and Valens discover nine human skulls and are led back to the serial killer, George, who they were unable to incriminate months earlier, on the second season finale of COLD CASE, Sunday, May 22 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Nelson McCormick directed from a script by Veena Sud.
As the 1972 case takes shape, Rush and Valens discover that George's mother, Simone, was raped and murdered in her home and the human skulls have been resting in her backyard. As Rush and Valens piece together the events leading to Simone's death, they track down a former neighbor who reveals that Simone was blind and thus, unable to see the two men who broke into the house and attacked her. Further, Rush discovers that 12-year-old George was in the house at the time and witnessed his mother's torture and death. Now, Rush believes that George is responsible for burying his victims' heads on the property and she now must lure him out of hiding.
