THE TEAM SEARCHES FOR A 12-YEAR-OLD AUTISTIC BOY WHO VANISHES FROM A MANHATTAN MUSEUM WHILE ON A SCHOOL FIELD TRIP,
ON A REBROADCAST OF "WITHOUT A TRACE," THURSDAY, JUNE 23
"Volcano" -- The team searches for a 12-year-old autistic boy who vanishes during a school field trip to a Manhattan museum after dashing away from the group, on a rebroadcast of WITHOUT A TRACE, Thursday, June 23 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. John Showalter directed the episode written by Greg Walker. (Originally broadcast 2/3/05)
Jack quickly becomes suspicious of the missing Ian's father, Daniel, who said he forgot to bring the receiver to Ian's locating device on the field trip. Also, per witnesses, he lost his temper with Ian before the boy bolted. Meanwhile, the team's fears of foul play are heightened after they find Ian's locating band cut from his wrist in the museum's basement, where blood was also found. Their additional suspects include a museum employee who was working under an alias and Ian's school aide, who was scheduled to go on the field trip but called in sick.
