THE 11 REMAINING DESIGNERS' DREAMS COME TRUE WHEN THEY FACE THE CHALLENGE OF RUNNING THEIR OWN CLOTHING BOUTIQUE,
ON "THE CUT," WEDNESDAY, JULY 13 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK
"Grab People And Tell Them To Take Off All Their Clothes!" The 11 remaining designers form two new teams to see which team has what it takes to design and manage their own clothing boutique, on THE CUT, Wednesday, July 13 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Tommy Hilfiger meets the designers at his flagship store in New York to assign their next challenge, which is to design merchandise and sell clothes in their very own downtown clothing stores. The teams are tested on their design concept and execution, how well they market their inventory and their salesmanship. Barneys New York's creative designer Simon Doonan and actress Jamie-Lynn DiScala stop by each store only to shock the designers when they appear at the Style Forum to reveal that they were there to do more than just shop.
Meanwhile, two designers are invited to attend the Sundance Film Festival to schmooze with the celebrities, but one fails the social challenge when his behavior embarrasses Tommy.
