FOUR UNPREDICTABLE - AND VERY DIFFERENT --- CAREER WOMEN CATER TO HIGH-END REAL ESTATE CLIENTS IN MANHATTAN WHILE COPING WITH THEIR OWN PERSONAL PREDICAMENTS, ON "HOT PROPERTIES," PREMIERING FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7 ON ABC
In a Manhattan real estate office, four unpredictable -- and very different -- career women cater to high-end clients while coping with their own personal predicaments, on "Hot Properties," a new comedy series premiering FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7 (9:30-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Married to a handsome 25-year-old, the fortysomething owner of the real estate office, Ava Summerlin (Gail O'Grady), wants to start a family, while self-help book junkie Chloe Reid (Nicole Sullivan) would settle for any guy who could remember her the next day. Recently divorced after being married ten years to a gay man, voluptuous Lola Hernandez (SofC-a Vergara) dreads jumping back into the dating pool. The latest addition to this eclectic work group is the young, rich and never-worked-a-day-in-her-life Emerson Ives (Christina Moore). Their office neighbors from down the hall are therapist Dr. Sellers Boyd (Evan Handler) and plastic surgeon Dr. Charlie Thorpe (Stephen Dunham), with the floor's receptionist and resident busybody, Mary (Amy Hill), rounding out the group.
In the premiere episode, "Pilot," Ava and Chloe discover -- for the first time -- that they both had a fling with the same guy. Unfortunately he's the fiancC) of Emerson, their rich, new client who believes her man -- like her -- is a virgin. Meanwhile, Ava and her much younger husband go to a fertility specialist; thanks to a self-help book, Chloe realizes that no one has ever been "that into her," and Lola, who recently divorced after discovering her husband is gay, tries to re-enter the dating world.
