"Vocal Discord" -- Carrie and Doug decide that marriage counseling may be in order when Carrie's transcribing machine records one of their typical arguments, on THE KING OF QUEENS, Monday, Sept. 26 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Rob Schiller directed the script written by Chris Downey, one of the show's executive producers.

In an effort to save money, Doug and Carrie ask their neighbor Glenn for counseling since he happens to be a marriage counselor. Glenn agrees to help out only to have his problem-solving techniques backfire, causing their arguments to get worse. Meanwhile, when Arthur stumbles upon the recording of Doug and Carrie's argument, he and his partner, Betty (guest star Charlotte Rae), decide to reenact the argument during theatre night at the senior center.
