Get ready to mush with a special presentation of �Snow Dogs.� The charming comedy will air as the �ABC Saturday Movie of the Week,� in HDTV with 5.1-Channel Surround Sound and Spanish audio, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 31 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. (Rebroadcast. OAD: 1/29/05)

When Miami dentist Ted Brooks (Cuba Gooding, Jr.) learns that his birth mother has passed away and that he�s been named in her will, he travels to Alaska to claim his inheritance. Ted�s dreams of wealth quickly melt when he receives his mother�s pack of rowdy sled dogs along with her property. Nor are Diesel, Scooper, Nana, Yodel, Sniff, Mack, Duchess and Demon thrilled about getting a new owner. Ted decides to keep the dogs and race them in the local race, the Arctic Challenge, spiting a mountain man (played by James Coburn) who has his eye on this particular team of sled dogs. What follows is a hilarious romp, as Ted has to actually learn to run the dogs.
