"Girlfriend" -- Alex hopes she'll prove Bill and Julian wrong when they predict that, as with her past relationships, she'll find a silly reason to break up with Scott, on COURTING ALEX, Monday, Feb. 6 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Mark Cendrowski directed the episode written by Eileen Conn, one of the series' co-executive producers.

Though she's initially content to overhear Scott call her his girlfriend, Alex soon finds herself unnerved by the sighing sound he makes each time he takes a drink. When Bill notices this quirk of Scott's, he tries to provoke a breakup by offering Scott several tins of salty cashews to get him to drink, and sigh, as much as possible. Though Alex decides to save the relationship by simply asking him to stop making that sound, she's driven even crazier when Scott mentions that she has a few bothersome traits as well.
