With only one spot left in the Breeder's Cup, Kerry suggests that Kris charm the wealthy heiress Gillian (Charlotte Salt), and convince her to give the invitation to Wildfire. Kris is at first reluctant, especially when she must go to the Davis formal charity event to accomplish her mission, but with Kerry's help she is the belle of the ball. Dani finds out about Kris's plans and undermines her with Gillian. On top of everything Kris discovers that Gillian and Kerry used to be romantically involved.
