Emmy Award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus ("Seinfeld") stars in THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE, a comedy about a single mother and owner of a "30-minute workout gym" who is the portrait of the new American mom, albeit with some unflinchingly candid points of view. For her, every day is an adventure, but life is made easier due to the fantastic relationship she shares with her ex-husband, that is, until his new girlfriend enters the picture, instantly complicating her life. The series from executive producer Kari Lizer ("Will & Grace") premieres Monday, March 13 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

First Three Episode Storylines

"Pilot" -- Christine learns that her ex-husband, Richard, has a new girlfriend, Monday, March 13 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT). Andy Ackerman, one of the series' executive producers, directed the episode from a teleplay by Kari Lizer, one of the series' executive producers.

Christine's 8-year-old son, Ritchie (Trevor Gagon) has been accepted into a posh private school where Christine encounters two snooty class moms, Marly (Tricia O'Kelley) and Lindsay (Alex Kapp Horner), who can't seem to grasp the concept that Christine actually works. Her 20-something slacker brother, Matthew (Hamish Linklater), lives with her, but in a pinch, also serves as Ritchie's babysitter. On the first day at Ritchie's new school, Christine is mortified to discover that her ex-husband, Richard (Clark Gregg), with whom she gets along even better than when they were married, is dating a young, nice, impossible-to-hate woman also named Christine (Emily Rutherfurd) the "new" Christine.

"Supertramp" -- Christine tries to keep up with Richard's active love life, Monday, March 20 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT). Andy Ackerman, one of the series' executive producers, directed the episode from a teleplay by Jeff Astrof. Andy Richter ("Andy Richter Controls the Universe") guest stars.

When Christine learns that Richard and "new" Christine are enjoying an intimate relationship, she becomes determined to make her own conquests. After several failed attempts to meet eligible men, she finally runs into a guy named Stan (Richter) at the grocery store. Unbeknownst to Christine, Stan is a father at Ritchie's school who is known as "Sad Dad."

"Open Water" -- Christine reluctantly agrees to go on a series of blind dates, Monday, March 27 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT). Andy Ackerman, one of the series' executive producers, directed the episode from a teleplay by Adam Barr. Emmy Award winner Wanda Sykes ("The Chris Rock Show") guest stars.

When Christine learns that her close friends, Barb (Sykes) and Pete, are responsible for introducing Richard to his "new" Christine, she allows them to set her up on a blind date of her own. After a series of unsuccessful dates, she finds the possibility of love in the strangest of places. Meanwhile, Matthew takes Ritchie to swimming lessons.
