SIMON MEETS ROSE�S EX-FIANC� � Simon (David Gallagher) and Rose (Sarah Thompson) have dinner with Rose�s ex-fianc�, Umberto (guest star Fidel Gomez). Rose�s attempts to make Umberto jealous makes Simon realize that she still has feelings for her ex. Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) gets a new cell phone, but is sad because she has no friends or boyfriend to call her. Attempting to help, Eric (Stephen Collins) and Kevin (George Stults) give Ruthie�s number to some of the guys she was once interested in. When the phone calls start coming in, Ruthie rekindles a romance with Peter (Scotty Leavenworth). Catherine Hicks, Beverley Mitchell, Nikolas Brino and Lorenzo Brino also star. The episode was directed by Michael Preece and written by Brenda Hampton (#216).
