'DATELINE'S' HODA KOTB REPORTS IN AN UNCENSORED BROADCAST ON TOM CRUISE SUNDAY, MAY 7 AT 7PM
(New York, N.Y.) May 3, 2006 It's been almost a year since Tom Cruise made his famous appearances on "Oprah" and "Today." Since that time, his public persona has become fodder for tabloids, television shows, web sites and radio programs. But, for all of the jumping on couches, public displays of affection, intense interviews and controversial statements, most people still don't know much about Tom Cruise.
On Sunday, May 7 (7:00 PM/ET), "Dateline's" Hoda Kotb reports in an uncensored multi-part report that explores the questions society has been asking what's behind the relationship we've come to know as "TomKat?" And how has he transformed himself from an understated ladies man into a global superstar some say is on the brink of a breakdown? In an attempt to infiltrate his tightly controlled world, "Dateline" undertakes a search for answers from Rome, Italy to Toledo, Ohio, as Tom Cruise storms into theatres with his latest summer blockbuster.
David Corvo is the executive producer of "Dateline NBC."
