TNT continues to make Monday the most dramatic night of the week as its two top-notch original series � THE CLOSER and SAVED � continue Monday, June 26. This week, THE CLOSER�s lead character, Brenda Leigh Johnson (Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Kyra Sedgwick) investigates a possible gang-related shooting that hits a little too close to home for one of her peers at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). And on SAVED at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Wyatt Cole (Tom Everett Scott) and his fellow paramedics deal with a vicious attack at a local gay bar while Cole�s conflict with his father intensifies.

The third episode of THE CLOSER�s new season has Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson (Sedgwick) investigating the shooting of three youngsters, one of whom is the son of friends of Commander Taylor (Robert Gossett � Arlington Road, The Net). The shooting, which takes place in a known gang area and which has all the markings of a gang-related crime, leads Brenda on a complicated trail of clues that could tarnish the image of one of the victims.
Meanwhile, Brenda must also deal with her mother, played by three-time Emmy� nominee Frances Sternhagen (Sex and the City, ER), whose visit to Los Angeles is preventing Brenda�s FBI Agent boyfriend Fritz (Jon Tenney � You Can Count on Me, Get Real) from moving in.
THE CLOSER�s Screen Actors Guild Award�-nominated ensemble cast also features J.K. Simmons (Law & Order, Spider-Man) as Assistant Police Chief Will Pope; Corey Reynolds (The Terminal, Tony nominee for Hairspray) as Sgt. David Gabriel, Brenda�s right-hand man; G.W.
