TNT�s dramatic Monday line-up continues with the network�s top-notch original series � THE CLOSER and SAVED � continue Monday, July 3. This week, THE CLOSER�s lead character, Brenda Leigh Johnson (Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Kyra Sedgwick) gets cooking after a woman is found murdered at a posh L.A. restaurant at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). And on SAVED at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Wyatt Cole (Tom Everett Scott) and his fellow paramedics must deal with a heavy fog that�s wreaking havoc on the city while their personal relationships continue to face difficult challenges.
THE CLOSER�s premiere episode on Monday, June 12, scored ad-supported cable�s largest audience delivery ever for an original scripted series telecast, beating its own record set with the premiere episode of season one, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. Meanwhile, SAVED scored big in its premiere, ranking as ad-supported cable�s top new original scripted series debut of the year.

The fourth episode of THE CLOSER�s second season has Deputy Chief Brenda Johnson (Sedgwick) investigating the murder of a young woman at a high-priced restaurant. Among the suspects are a slimy investor who has previously been investigated for murder and her husband, an ambitious chef. As the investigation unfolds, Brenda learns that the victim may have used unconventional ways to advance her career and the career of her husband.
Meanwhile, Brenda must also deal with a major landmark in her life: her 40th birthday. She attempts to hide the fact from the squad, but their investigative skills eventually uncover her secret.
