TNT�s hit dramas THE CLOSER and SAVED continue to heat up the summer with taut episodes Monday, August 21. On THE CLOSER, Brenda Leigh Johnson, played by 2006 Emmy� nominee Kyra Sedgwick, investigates a case involving the smuggling of illegal immigrants over the border at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). And on SAVED at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), Wyatt Cole (Tom Everett Scott) gets carjacked in his ambulance by a pair of gunmen seeking to score some drugs.

THE CLOSER�s premiere episode on Monday, June 12, scored ad-supported cable�s largest audience delivery ever for an original scripted series telecast, beating its own record set with the premiere episode of season one. Meanwhile, SAVED scored big in its premiere, delivering more than 5.1 million viewers.

In a tense and gripping episode, Wyatt Cole (Scott) and his paramedic partner John �Sack� Hallon (Omari Hardwick � Beauty Shop, Sucker Free City) find themselves at gunpoint when their rig is carjacked by a couple of brothers seeking to score some morphine. This unexpected incident puts a crimp in Wyatt�s burgeoning new relationship. Meanwhile, paramedic Angela de la Cruz (Tracy Vilar � The Steve Harvey Show, ER) drives her fellow paramedics crazy with her drill-sergeant routine after she is assigned to temporary duty as a dispatcher.
