           "Release the Dogs" -- Alan seeks a cure for his insomnia, while Charlie pursues the mother of Jake's new girlfriend,  on a rebroadcast of TWO AND A HALF MEN, at a special time, Monday, April 2 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.  Gary Halvorson directed the episode from a story by Susan Beavers and Jim Patterson and a teleplay by Chuck Lorre and Lee Aronsohn, two of the series' executive producers.            Unable to sleep, Alan takes one of Charlie's suggestions and goes for a jog on the beach. His jog takes a disastrous turn, so he next turns to a psychiatrist in the hopes that discovering the source of his insomnia will help alleviate it.  Meanwhile, Jake pleads with Charlie not to date the hot mother of a girl he likes.
