In "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement," Princess Mia has just graduated college and is on her way to Genovia to take up her Princess duties. While continuing to be schooled in royal protocol, her life is suddenly thrown into upheaval as she learns that she'll not only have to become Queen sooner than expected, she'll also have to get married -- for an unmarried woman cannot be Queen of Genovia. With her fantasies of a fairy tale wedding now seriously threatened, Mia realizes that the only way to prevent Genovia from falling into the scheming hands of Viscount Mabrey -- who wants his nephew, Nicholas Devereaux, crowned King -- is to acquiesce to an arranged marriage. After considering her choices, Mia chooses Andrew Jacoby, the Duke of Kenilworth. But will she go through with it, or can true love still find some path to the throne?

"The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" stars Anne Hathaway ("The Devil Wears Prada") as Mia, Julie Andrews (ABC's "Eloise" movies, "Mary Poppins") as Queen Clarisse Renaldi, Hector Elizondo ("Georgia Rule", "Pretty Woman") as Joe, Heather Matarazzo ("Blue Moon") as Lilly Moscovitz, John Rhys-Davies ("Tainted Love") as Viscount Mabrey and Chris Pine ("Smoking Aces") as Nicholas Devereaux.

"The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement," released in 2004, was directed by Garry Marshall ("Georgia Rule", "Runaway Bride") from the screenplay by Shonda Rhimes (TV's "Grey's Anatomy") and story by Gina Wendkos ("The Princess Diaries"), based on the novel by Meg Cabot. The film is a production of BrownHouse Productions and Walt Disney Pictures.
