CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY, DELIVERING THE GIFT OF LAUGHTER IN "SURVIVING CHRISTMAS," WITH BEN AFFLECK, JAMES GANDOLFINI AND CHRISTINA APPLEGATE, SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15 ON ABC

Gather up the family for some holiday cheer and laughter in "Surviving Christmas," airing as the "ABC Saturday Movie of the Week," SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Drew Latham (Ben Affleck) is a young, wealthy, executive who seems to only have money as his true and sole companion during the holidays. Not looking forward to another Christmas alone, he sets off to revisit his childhood neighborhood in hopes of reliving some old holiday memories. What he fails to foresee is that his childhood home is now very different. For one thing, there's a married couple (James Gandolfini and Catherine O'Hara) living in it. Undeterred, Drew offers them a ridiculously generous reward if they'll help him relive Christmases past, setting up a series of ho-ho-ho's and ha-ha-ha's that are sure to put you in the spirit of the season.

"Surviving Christmas" stars Ben Affleck ("Man About Town," "Hollywoodland") as Drew Latham, James Gandolfini ("The Sopranos," "All the Kings Men") as Tom Valco, Christina Applegate ("Samantha Who?," "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy") and Catherine O'Hara ("For Your Consideration") as Christine Valco.

The film, released in 2004, was directed by Mike Mitchell. The screenplay and story was written by Deborah Kaplan and Henry Elfont. Additional screenplay writers include Jeffrey Ventimilia & Joshua Sternin. "Surviving Christmas" is a production of Dreamworks SKG, Tall Trees Production, and LivePlanet.
