He loves his family but he continues to test his wife's patience with his stubborn antics.

Jim sometimes takes for granted his brother-in-law and best ally, Andy (Larry Joe Campbell), who doggedly covers for Jim's constant scheming. Sister-in-law Dana (Kimberly Williams-Paisley), now a new mom and happily married to a doctor, still manages to expose Jim's sneaky side at every turn.

But Jim's new-found power backfires when Cheryl and Dana become crasser versions of himself. Then, when Andy asks God to make men more like women, Jim and Andy are transformed into overly sensitive, girly men.'
