THE CSIs WORK TO NARROW DOWN A LARGE LIST OF SUSPECTS WHEN A TRANSGENDER SHOWGIRL IS MURDERED AT A FIVE-STAR HOTEL, ON A REBROADCAST OF "CSI: NY," ON A SPECIAL NIGHT AND TIME, SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT
"The Lying Game" -- When a transgender showgirl is drowned in a rest room at a five-star hotel, the CSIs investigate if the killer was surprised to discover the performer's secret and committed murder as a result, on a rebroadcast of CSI: NY, on a special night and time, Saturday, April 12 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Anthony Hemingway directed the episode written by the series' co-executive producer Wendy Battles. (Originally broadcast 1/24/07)
While investigating the murder of a transgender showgirl (guest star Candis Cayne), the CSIs work to narrow down their suspect list from a large number of guests since the victim was murdered outside a congressional banquet and a magazine launch party at the hotel. Stella and Sheldon face an uphill bureaucratic battle when they learn that the victim was involved in a heated argument with a congressman shortly before being killed. Meanwhile, while questioning the business partners of the president of an extreme sports company whose body was found inside a city salt truck, Mac and Danny discover an "alibi business" where trained professionals create the perfect cover for their clients' indiscretions. Also, Lindsay must take a leave of absence and return home to Montana when she's called to testify at her friends' murder trial.
