Texas Ranger and single father Roland Sharp (Tommy Lee Jones) must protect the only known witnesses to a drug kingpin-related murder: a group of vivacious cheerleaders from the University of Texas. When the girls' fathers fear that the murderer is trailing them, Roland is given the task of moving in with the feisty females, acting as their assistant cheerleading coach and monitoring their every move. Will he be able to protect them from evil, or will their wild ways and mischievous acts do them in?
