NASHVILLE STAR MAKES ITS BROADCAST TV DEBUT ON NBC HOSTED BY BILLY RAY CYRUS; SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY COUNTRY MUSIC SUPERSTAR TAYLOR SWIFT -- The "Nashville Star" six season premiere featuring new host Billy Ray Cyrus along with judges/mentors Jewel, John Rich and Jeffry Steele, documents the long road to Nashville beginning with the audition process in which phonemes and follies all vie for the chance to be America�s next music superstar. This year the competition opens the doors to not only solo artist, but also duos and trios. At the end of the episode, the top 12 finalists will be narrowed down to 10 after the judges eliminate 2.
