QUICK TAKE

NEW GAMES FOR SECOND EPISODE OF "I SURVIVED A JAPANESE GAME SHOW," AIRING TUESDAY, JULY 1, ON ABC

The craziness continues for Americans competing in Japan when "Episode 102" of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show" airs TUESDAY, JULY 1 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The games in the new hour include:

CRAZY CRANE FINDS FLUFFY BEAR!

Three teammates operate the movements of a fourth teammate (the "Human Claw"). The object of the game is to place as many stuffed bears as possible through the chute in the allotted time.

EXTRA! EXTRA! CRAZY WIND HITS CRAZY AMERICANS!

Each contestant has to deliver as many packages as possible to two mail slots in the allotted time while fighting against a powerful wind fan and lots of flying debris tossed at them by his/her opponent.

"I Survived a Japanese Game Show" is a hilarious, behind-the-scenes and ground-breaking show giving 10 Americans many of whom have never traveled outside the United States a real, life-changing adventure by whisking them away to Tokyo to compete in the ultimate Japanese game show. Each week a player will be eliminated and the final winner will take home $250,000.

Guiding the players through their stay in Japan are host/tour guide Tony Sano ("Spring Break in Japan," "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight"), an American actor fluent in Japanese; house mother and resident pot-stirrer Mamasan; an witty game show host Rome Kanda ("Pink Panther," "Saturday Night Live"), who leads the American contestants through all of the zany games.

"I Survived a Japanese Game Show" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.
