NEW YORK, NY, July 21, 2008 -- COMEDY CENTRAL is doing some Method acting in "Reel Comedy: Tropic Thunder." The half-hour special premieres on Monday, August 11 at midnight.

COMEDY CENTRAL�s "Reel Comedy: Tropic Thunder� is hosted by comedian Paul F. Tompkins, who visits the set of the film for an exclusive tour with the film�s star and director, Ben Stiller. Stiller shows Tompkins why the middle of the Hawaiian jungle is a great substitute for Southeast Asia, as well as a perfect spot to blow things up. Tompkins also speaks with the film�s other stars Jack Black, Robert Downey, Jr., Nick Nolte, Danny McBride, Brandon Jackson and Jay Baruchel, all of whom give opinions on why Hollywood actors are a perfect target for parody. Paramount�s �Tropic Thunder� opens in theaters on August 15.
