Miller and the team simultaneously investigate two murders, one involving a straight A student from Philadelphia's affluent Chestnut Hill and another of a young drug dealer from the projects. The link between them is methamphetamine. As the team delves deeper into the case, they learn of middle class addiction to a drug that is decimating suburban American culture, and how young drug dealers, with no other options in life, also pay a price in this high-stakes game. Now Miller must reach back into her undercover days and put the pieces together to solve the murders of two kids.
