The CBS Television Network begins its 49th year broadcasting the NFL with two preseason games during the 2008 season.
The preseason schedule for THE NFL ON CBS begins on Friday, Aug. 22 (8:00 PM, ET) when the Houston Texans take on the Dallas Cowboys live in prime time from Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas on the CBS Television Network. Ian Eagle and Phil Simms call the action. Jim Rikhoff produces and Mike Arnold directs.
THE NFL ON CBS concludes it two-game preseason schedule the following night as the Pittsburgh Steelers play the Minnesota Vikings live in prime time on Saturday, Aug. 23 (8:00 PM, ET). Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf call the game from the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. Mark Wolff produces and Bob Fishman directs.
