Burbank, CA (August 28, 2008) - "Lincoln Heights," the critically acclaimed and multiple NAACP Image and NAMIC Award nominated family drama series returns for season three, with ten new episodes premiering, Tuesday, September 16, 8:00-9:00 p.m., ET, on ABC Family. "Lincoln Heights" follows the lives of the Sutton family led by Eddie, an ambitious police officer, who moved his wife and three kids to the inner-city neighborhood where he was raised, with hopes of cleaning it up and making a difference.

This season, Cassie and Charles take their relationship to new heights and Tay and Lizzie also delve further into their passions - Tay starts creating his own music, and Lizzie gets recruited to attend a prestigious private school. Eddie and Jenn meet a powerful new family, who promise better things for the community, but despite early signs of renewal in the neighborhood, their changes may not be what's best for the Heights.

In the season opener, "Glass House," Eddie and Jenn are getting ready to return from a romantic getaway when a few thugs break into the Sutton house. Cassie and Charles are upstairs in the house during the break in and find a secret passage way in the attic to hide out. But, when the thugs find them, they hold Cassie and Charles hostage during a hostile police standoff. Meanwhile, Tay, desperate for help with his music and dance moves reaches out to Ruben for some advice.
