PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES MEET FOR THE FIRST OF THREE DEBATES LEADING UP TO ELECTION DAY FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, ON FOX

The presidential candidates, including Democratic nominee Barack Obama and Republican nominee John McCain, will meet at the Gertrude C. Ford Center on the campus of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, MS, for the first of three presidential election debates. Topics of discussion will include foreign policy and national security issues, and the evening will be moderated by Jim Lehrer, executive editor and anchor of "The News Hour" on PBS.
