SEASON FINALE
THREE FINALISTS COMPETE IN PEOPLE MAGAZINE PHOTO SHOOT
FOR THE SEASON FINALE OF ABC'S "TRUE BEAUTY"
Vanessa Minnillo Hosts / Cheryl Tiegs, Nol Marin Are Judges
"Finale" Who is the most beautiful person both inside and out? Three finalists compete in a PEOPLE Magazine photo shoot where the judges will decide the question, on the season finale of "True Beauty," MONDAY, FEBRUARY 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The winner will also receive a cash prize and a spot in PEOPLE's 100 Most Beautiful People issue.
The PEOPLE magazine challenge will test our contestants' outer beauty with a sexy photo shoot and their inner beauty with an interview that measures their ability to speak honestly about themselves, assessing their own and each other's chances. Who will be the most beautiful?
Vanessa gathers our three finalists and reveals the challenge: They will each meet with PEOPLE magazine Executive Editor Jess Cagle for an interview. Jess and our judges will be watching to see how honest and humble our contestants are when answering truly difficult and revealing questions about their lives. They will also meet with celebrity photographer Matthew Rolston who has snapped celebrities like Angelia Jolie, Johnny Depp & Tyra Banks -- for a sexy, semi-nude photo shoot.
After the interview and the photo shoot, the three contestants head back to the house to find a champagne surf-n-turf dinner and the surprise of their lives. After reminiscing about the competition, their former colleagues and their favorite memories, they find a note directing them to a "secret door" in the house. Unbeknownst to them, the judges have been watching their every move inside the house from a spy room, where they now see video of their own behavior playing across several giant screens. Then a video of Vanessa reveals that the competition is about outer AND inner beauty, and that tomorrow one person will be proclaimed the winner.
Now knowing what the competition is really about, the contestants meet our judges for the final Hall of Beauty. There they defend themselves, one by one, and make a case for why they should win the competition. In the end, the judges will announce the rankings and there can be only one True Beauty.
Female contestants are Monique Santiago, a 21-year-old dancer from Manhattan, New York; Julia Anderson, a 23-year-old magician's assistant from Dallas, Texas; Laura Leigh, a 21-year-old model from Staten Island, New York; and Chelsea Bush, a 21-year old model/artist from Brentwood, Tennessee.
The men are CJ Miller, a 26-year-old barista from Los Angeles, California; Billy Jeffrey, a 31-year-old vitamin store owner from Lewiston, Idaho; Joel Rush, a 26-year-old imaging software salesman from Tampa, Florida; and Ray Seitz, a 29-year-old artist from San Diego, California.
"True Beauty" is hosted and judged by Vanessa Minnillo, along with judges Cheryl Tiegs and Nol Marin. Executive producers are Denise Cramsey, Tyra Banks and Laura Armstrong for Bankable Productions, and Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg, Karey Burke and Rod Aissa for Katalyst Productions. The series is a production of Warner Horizon Television. This program carries a TV-14,L parental guideline.
