POP STAR DIONNE WARWICK GUEST STARS � Drew's (Drew Carey) older brother, Steve (recurring guest star John Carroll Lynch), visits for the first time in years and asks for a job at the department store. After Drew hires him in the cosmetics department, he finds Steve confidently selling makeup in a dress. Steve admits that he is a cross-dresser. Drew is upset, but he supports his brother. When Mr. Wick (Craig Ferguson) orders him to terminate Steve, Drew challenges Mr. Wick to figure out who the cross-dressers are in one of the store's departments. Mr. Wick's choice is very wrong: He selects pop star Dionne Warwick (guest stars as herself), who is innocently shopping. Meanwhile, when Mimi (Kathy Kinney) has an allergic reaction to her heavy makeup, she must go without wearing it for two weeks. She uses dark glasses, a scarf, a hood and a hand-held fan to hide her naked face, but nothing works as well as a slide projector that shines gaudy colors on her face as if she were wearing makeup.
