DREW AND KATE GO TO THE BAHAMAS � Mr. Wick (Craig Ferguson) offers a holiday contest to the department store workers -- whoever decorates their desk the best wins a trip for two to the Bahamas. Mimi (Kathy Kinney) constructs a religious shrine for Mr. Wick, complete with a boy's choir singing naughty Christmas carols. Drew's (Drew Carey) desk looks the same as always except every item is edible. Kate (Christa Miller) merely wears a miniskirt and dances on her desk. Mr. Wick awards one ticket each to Drew and Kate. Drew worries about how his girlfriend, Nicki (recurring guest star Kate Walsh), will feel and wonders if Oswald (Diedrich Bader) will mind the arrangement. Drew confides in Lewis (Ryan Stiles) that he has been secretly enamored with Kate since childhood and fantasized about being on a deserted island with her. Oswald and Nicki cannot go on the trip, so Drew and Kate happily leave. Later, Lewis accidentally reveals Drew's feelings to Oswald. Distraught, Oswald flies to the Bahamas. Drew and Kate love their luxury accommodations and have a great time as friends. Kate confesses that she has doubts about her relationship with Oswald. But Drew unselfishly tells Kate that Oswald has been in love with her since they were kids and fantasized about being stranded with her on an island. When Oswald arrives, Drew pretends that it's a surprise he planned and leaves the couple to have a romantic vacation. Gerry Cohen directed the episode written by Les Firestein (#466263).
