SOPHIE FACES A HOSTILE TAKE OVER AT WORK IN AN ALL-NEW EPISODE OF "SOPHIE," MONDAY, MAY 4 AT 9:30 PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (April 13, 2009) � Judith decides to make the talent agency a family business, in "Checking Sophie Out," an all-new episode of "Sophie" premiering on ABC Family on Monday, May 4 (9:30 � 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Judith decides that, since the talent agency is the last part of her late husband she can hold on to, she wants a piece of it � as Sophie's partner. But her idea of being a partner is more like being a dictator. With a redecorated office, new office rules and Judith bringing Sophie's convict brother on as another partner, Sophie is at her wits' end. Will she be able to keep the agency afloat while battling to keep control from her mother?

Meanwhile, as part of Judith's take-over, she decides to make Estelle's life a living hell and convince her to get plastic surgery.

"Sophie" stars Natalie Brown, Sebastian Spence, Jeff Geddis, Amy Lalonde, Mimi Kuzyk, Sara Botsford, Chantelle Chung and Catherine B�rub�.
