"THE DREW CAREY SHOW" (6:00-6:30 p.m. ET)

"Two Weddings and A Funeral For A Refrigerator" (CONTENT RATING TBD)

DREW AND HIS CO-WORKERS COMPETE IN THE EMPLOYEE OLYMPICS After Drew's (Drew Carey) beloved refrigerator malfunctions, he chooses a fancy new one from the store catalog to be the prize in the Winfred-Louder Employee Olympics, hoping he'll win it. The teams include Drew and Nicki (recurring guest star Kate Walsh); Mimi (Kathy Kinney) and Larry (recurring guest star Ian Gomez); Mr. Wick (Craig Ferguson) and his athletic female friend; Oswald (Diedrich Bader) and Kate (Christa Miller); and Lewis (Ryan Stiles) and his strange girlfriend, Pinky (recurring guest star Ashley Gardner), who is frequently used by the pharmaceutical company to test out new drugs. Lewis participates because he portrays Santa's elf in the store at Christmas. The competitions involve appliances found in the department store, such as leaf-blower hockey and chariot races using wheeled garbage pails pulled by self-propelling vacuum cleaners. Through fearlessness and cheating, Mimi and Larry advance to the final competition to face Drew and Nicki in a tug-of-war involving two clothes washers spinning out of balance. When both Larry and Nicki are injured, Drew must battle Mimi for the refrigerator prize. But Nicki distracts Drew while trying to encourage him, and Mimi yanks him into another nearby refrigerator, winning the contest. Fortunately, Drew dented the other refrigerator, and he buys it for an extremely cheap price. Brian K. Roberts directed the episode written by Terry Mulroy & Christy Snell ().
