"VANISHED: GONE IN 90 SECONDS"

Elizabeth Vargas Reports on the Disappearance of 11-Year-Old Mikelle Biggs, Friday, May 15 on ABC News' "20/20"

To many the sound of the ice cream truck's music captures the innocence of American childhood. But to 11-year-old Mikelle Biggs, it was the sound that led to her disappearance 10 years ago. Mikelle's bike and two quarters for the ice cream man were the only things found after she was left alone by her younger sister for just 90 seconds, waiting for the ice cream truck. Ninety seconds was all it took for Mikelle to disappear, snatched within sight of her home while her mother was inside making dinner. Elizabeth Vargas investigates the mystery that devastated a family and traumatized a community. What happened to Mikelle Biggs? Police would come up with a shocking lead and a stunning revelation about the neighborhood where they lived. But with no witnesses, no physical evidence and no body, will the police be able to solve the mystery? "Vanished: Gone in 90 Seconds" airs on "20/20," FRIDAY, MAY 15 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"20/20" is anchored by Elizabeth Vargas and John Stossel. David Sloan is executive producer.
