DREW'S FRIENDS BUY HIM AN EXPENSIVE GIFT � Before having his experimental breast implants removed, Oswald (Diedrich Bader) earns an additional fee for posing topless for the DrugCo calendar. He uses it to repay his friends for the money he borrowed over the years. But when Drew's (Drew Carey) old car is wrecked in an accident, Oswald, Lewis (Ryan Stiles) and Kate (Christa Miller) combine their money and buy Drew a new car. Unfortunately, Drew feels so guilty about their generous gift that he sells the new car to Mimi (Kathy Kinney), has his old one repaired and buys expensive presents for the three friends. Oswald, Lewis and Kate are upset that Drew rejected their gift. Meanwhile, it's time for Drew to coordinate the Winfred-Louder Employee of the Year contest, which has always been awarded to relatives of the store owners. However, there are no longer any Winfreds or Louders who haven't yet won, so Mimi schemes to win the prize trip to Hawaii. She agrees to sell Drew back his car to placate his friends but only if Drew makes her Employee of the Year. Written by Terry Mulroy directed by Sam Simon (#467509).
