Academy Award-Nominated Film (Best Animated Feature) Will Air in HDTV With 5.1-Channel Surround Sound and Spanish Audio via SAP

"Shark tale" made its way into the hearts of moviegoers around the world in 2004 and became an Academy Award nominee for Best Animated Feature. Starring a remarkable cast of voices that includes Will Smith, Robert De Niro, Ren�e Zellweger, Jack Black, Martin Scorsese, Doug E. Doug and Michael Imperioli, the hilarious family film will air in HDTV with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish audio, SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. "Shark Tale" is a story of the underwater underworld, shaken up when the son of the shark mob boss (De Niro) is killed by an unlikely culprit -- a dropped anchor. Found at the scene is Oscar (Smith), a fast-talking small fish who's been able to steer clear of trouble� until now! As a bottom feeder, Oscar realizes he stands to gain some points with the gang lord's enemies by making himself appear to be the killer -- until too late he remembers that he inhabits a world in which big fish EAT small fish. Will Oscar be able to fin-agle his way out of his false claim and stay alive, or will he too sleep with the fishes (say what?)?

"Shark Tale's" voice cast includes Will Smith ("The Pursuit of Happyness," "Hitch") as Oscar, Robert De Niro ("The Good Shepherd," "Meet the Fockers") as Don Lino, Ren�e Zellweger ("Cinderella Man") as Angie, Jack Black ("The Holiday," "Nacho Libre") as Lenny, Martin Scorsese ("The Departed") as Sykes, Doug E. Doug (TV's "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) as Bernie and Michael Imperioli ("The Sopranos") as Frankie.

"Shark Tale" was directed by Bibo Bergeron ("The Road to El Dorado"), Vicky Jenson ("Shrek") and Rob Letterman ("Los Gringos"), and written by Michael J. Wilson ("The Tuxedo") and Rob Letterman. It is from Dreamworks Animation.
