THE ANTARES CREW IS AT A POINT OF NO RETURN, ON ABC'S DEFYING GRAVITY

"Rubicon" - There's no turning back, on ABC's "Defying Gravity," SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET). It's a humbling moment for the crew of the spaceship, as each of them deals with a personal point of no return, while the Antares itself crosses a critical boundary when going back to Earth is no longer an option, and the home planet becomes just another twinkling light in a vast canopy of stars.

"Defying Gravity" stars Ron Livingston as Maddux Donner, Laura Harris as Zoe Barnes, Malik Yoba as Ted Shaw, Christina Cox as Jen Crane, Florentine Lahme as Nadia Schilling, Paula Garces as Paula Morales, Eyal Podell as Evram Mintz, Dylan Taylor as Steve Wassenfelder, Andrew Airlie as Mike Goss, Karen LeBlanc as Eve Shaw, Zahf Paroo as Ajay Sharma and Maxim Roy as Claire Dereux.

"Rubicon" was directed by Marcie Ulin and written by Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin.

"Defying Gravity" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning. This program carries a TV-14,D,L,S parental guideline.
