DREW AND HIS FRIENDS DISCOVER SECRET SCIENTIFIC MIRACLES � Promoted to janitorial manager at DrugCo, Lewis (Ryan Stiles) offers to bring Drew's (Drew Carey) beloved dog, Speedy, into work to have the dog's cataracts cured. However, Lewis becomes worried when Speedy isn't released after a week. Drew brings Lewis, Oswald (Diedrich Bader) and Kate (Christa Miller) on a rescue mission and, while searching for Speedy, Drew and the others discover scientific miracles and atrocities, such as a giant English-speaking cockroach, hologram dogs, a creature that is half-monkey and half-hippopotamus, a clone of Lewis and an Epiphany Ball that makes whoever holds it very perceptive. Finally, they find Speedy playing with Lewis' boss, Mr. Hathaway (Charles Nelson Reilly, the "Cannonball Run" films). Speedy's eyes are cured, but Mr. Hathaway had become enamored with Speedy and wanted to keep him. With the help of the Epiphany Ball, Mr. Hathaway realizes that Drew will beat him up unless he lets Speedy go. Meanwhile, Oswald angers Kate by keeping wedding gifts sent by her relatives, who are unaware of that their ceremony was canceled.
