Larry Daly (Ben Stiller), a divorced father who is about to be evicted from his apartment, takes a job as a night guard at the Museum of Natural History in New York to pay the bills. What he doesn't realize is that the objects in the museum � a statue of Teddy Roosevelt, the T-Rex skeleton and army miniatures � all come to life at night because of an ancient Egyptian tablet.
