Elizabeth Vargas will report from Italy, where a verdict is expected in the trial of American college student Amanda Knox, who is accused of murdering her British roommate, Meredith Kercher, in 2007, just six weeks after arriving to study abroad in the quaint, medieval town of Perugia, Italy. Knox is on trial with her former Italian boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito. The two claim they were together at his apartment the night of the murder. A third man, Rudy Guede, has already been convicted and sentenced to 30 years. "20/20" and Elizabeth Vargas have been following the case since the arrest, and has aired exclusive interviews with Knox's family, as well as obtained unprecedented access to both the prosecution and defense. The report airs on "20/20," FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. `
