"Beating a Dead Workforce" � After an employee literally drops dead in the midst of Veridian's big push to finish a major project -- a machine that ironically will get people to sleep -- Veronica tries to use the incident as inspiration to make the staff work even harder, on "Better Off Ted," TUESDAY,
JANUARY 5 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Better Off Ted" stars Jay Harrington as Ted, Portia de Rossi as Veronica, Andrea Anders as Linda, Jonathan Slavin as Phil, Malcolm Barrett as Lem and Isabella Acres as Rose.
Guest starring are Merrin Dungey as Sheila, Warren Sweeney as Gordon Jenkins, Brad Raider as Perry and Graham Norris as Johnny.
"Beating a Dead Workforce" was written by Ingrid Escajeda and directed by Marc Buckland.
"Better Off Ted" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary Closed Captioning. This program carries a TV-PG,D parental guideline.
