CAMP VICTORY'S RESIDENT AND REBEL WITH A HEART WILLAMINA SHOWS A HINT OF VULNERABILTY, IN THE SECOND EPISODE OF "HUGE," MONDAY, JULY 5TH AT 9:00PM ET/PT ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (Thursday, June 10, 2010) - In the second episode of "Huge," Willamina (Nikki Blonsky), aka Will, displays emotional discomfort when faced with the challenge of writing a letter home to her parents, while at the same time participating in new activities at Camp Victory and developing a crush. Who is the lucky camper who has stolen Will's once reluctant heart? Find out Monday, July 5 (9:00 - 10:00 PM ET/PT), on the new ABC Family original, one-hour scripted series, "Huge." The episode, entitled "Letters Home," was directed by Ron Lagomarsino and written by Gayle Abrams.

When a new camper arrives, it becomes apparent that something is out of the ordinary when it comes to her family. Her parents persuade Dr. Rand (Gina Torres) to allow them to observe their daughter in her daily activities, citing their daughter's anxiety as the reason. Additionally, Amber (Hayley Hasselhoff) does not take too kindly to the new girl at first, but just as the girls seem to be forming a relationship, an unexpected encounter occurs, leaving the girls with one less bunkmate.

"Huge" is a heartwarming drama that focuses on a group of teens from different backgrounds attending a weight loss camp as they embark on their individual journeys of self discovery. The series will follow the campers as they deal with issues including self-esteem, friendship, rivalry, romance and body image.

Winnie Holzman ("My So-Called Life," "Once & Again," "Wicked") serves as executive producer with Kim Rozenfeld ("American High"); Savannah Dooley serves as producer on the series. Alloy Entertainment's Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy ("Gossip Girl," "The Vampire Diaries") also serve as executive producers; Robin Schiff ("Romy & Michele's High School Reunion" and ABC Family's "10 Things I Hate About You") serves as a consulting producer.
