BILL BURR BARES IT ALL IN THE WORLD TELEVISION PREMIERE OF "BILL BURR: LET IT GO" DEBUTING SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 AT 11:00 P.M. ET/PT

NEW YORK, August 24, 2010 -- It's the little things in life that can put you over the edge. But Bill Burr is learning to cope in the World Television Premiere of his one-hour stand-up special, "Bill Burr: Let It Go," premiering on COMEDY CENTRAL on Sunday, September 19 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In his second one-hour special for the network, Burr is confronting his frustrations with the world and moving on. From supermarket self-check-out counters to people who boast that they adopted a "rescue dog," Burr's uniformed logic paints a picture of a life less difficult. Questioning what passes for normal, Burr calls out overcompensating friends who question your masculinity for ordering banana pancakes, warns his audience of a future where the government implants us with micro-chips and ponders the way we see the contestants on "The Biggest Loser," all bringing the Fillmore Theater audience to its feet.

Having first gained notoriety for his recurring role on the second season of COMEDY CENTRAL's "Chappelle's Show," Burr is a regular performer on the "Late Show with David Letterman" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." His first hour special, "Why Do I Do This?" premiered on COMEDY CENTRAL in the fall of 2008 to rave reviews and is now available on CD and DVD. Burr can be seen in the Steve Carell and Tina Fey film feature, "Date Night," his "Monday Morning Podcast" has become a fan favorite and this fall he will tour theaters across the country with this new show, "Bill Burr: You People Are All the Same."
