"Marc Paskin: Detroit, MI" -- "Secret Millionaire" is a one-hour alternative series that follows six of America's most successful business people as they spend a week in the country's poorest areas and ultimately gift deserving members of the community with hundreds of thousands of dollars of their own money. In this episode, real estate investor and multi-millionaire Marc Paskin spends a week living in a typical, run down, one-bedroom house on the east side of Detroit, an area with a reputation for crime, drugs and gangs. Paskin will have to survive on $50.00, the equivalent of one week of Detroit's welfare assistance for a single man over 55. During this time, he will find deserving people and organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of men, women and children, and will surprise these heroes with donations of thousands of dollars from his own fortune, on "Secret Millionaire," SUNDAY, MARCH 13 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on The ABC Television Network.

Proclaimed as the "The Donald Trump of San Diego" by the San Diego Tribune, Paskin is president of Paskin Properties, a division of The Paskin Group, a privately owned real estate investment and management company. Raised in a poor family, he worked his way through college. Following his graduation from the University of Wisconsin, Paskin took his life savings of $1,000 and used it as a down payment on a duplex. During the following 35 years, he bought and sold real estate, working his way up to much larger assets - turning his small initial investment into a portfolio of apartment complexes, industrial buildings, office buildings and retail investments spanning the sun belt from California to Nevada, Texas and Florida. He turned his initial $1,000 investment into over $100 million.

A sought after speaker at universities and companies worldwide, Paskin now motivates others by talking about his life and sharing how anyone can make money in real estate. At the age of 61, his goal is to literally "die broke" - give away all of his money to worthy causes and needy people. When he isn't working on real estate mega-deals, he enjoys going to concerts, traveling, skiing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. A former radio disc jockey, you may also run into him dressed up in an Elvis jumpsuit singing karaoke at neighborhood bars.

Based on the hit UK series of the same name, each episode of "Secret Millionaire" follows one of America's most successful business people for one week as they leave behind their lavish lifestyles, sprawling mansions and luxury jets, conceal their true identities, and go to live and volunteer in some of the most impoverished and dangerous neighborhoods in the country. Their mission is to discover deserving individuals who continually sacrifice everything to help those in need, and ultimately encourage others to do the same. Throughout this incredible, life-changing experience, the Secret Millionaires will attempt to remain undiscovered, coming face to face with extraordinary people battling the odds every day of their lives. On the final day, in an emotional and dramatic climax, they reveal their true identities. Ultimately, the millionaires will each give away a great deal of their own money, changing lives forever and encouraging others to keep giving back.
