Lisa Lampanelli Dishes the Dirt in the World Television Premiere of 'Lisa Lampanelli: Tough Love' Debuting Sunday, March 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT

NEW YORK, March 7, 2011 -- She tied the knot, but Lisa Lampanelli shows no signs of settling down in her one-hour World Television Premiere special, "Lisa Lampanelli: Tough Love," debuting Sunday, March 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

From the stage of Rialto Square Theatre in Joliet, IL, comedy's loveable "Queen of Mean" gets personal while discussing everything from life as a newlywed to her hilarious new money-making scheme. The insult comic star lives up to her reputation as she takes shots at dozens of celebrities in a special bit, the "Roast of Worthless Americans." No one is safe from scrutiny as Lampanelli fires away at the cast of the Jersey Shore, the Real Housewives of Jersey, Tiger Woods, Lindsay Lohan, Brad Pitt, Jessica Simpson and many more in this one-hour special.

Lampanelli made her mark on the comedy scene in 2002 when she was the only female comedian to roast Chevy Chase on the NY Friars Club Roast on COMEDY CENTRAL. From there, she built her reputation as the "Queen of the Roast," going on to challenge the egos of such names as Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, William Shatner, Flava Flav, David Hasselhoff, and Donald Trump, whose Roast debuts March 15 on COMEDY CENTRAL. Lampanelli's mass appeal has spread over the years, with her multitude of television specials and appearances. In 2005, Lampanelli's one-hour special, "Take It Like a Man," was a hit on COMEDY CENTRAL and the CD and DVD of the show reached number six on the comedy charts. Her second one-hour special, "Dirty Girl", debuted on COMEDY CENTRAL and Warner Bros. Records and was nominated for a Grammy Award for 2007 Best Comedy Album of the Year. In 2009, her success continued as she starred in her first HBO comedy special, "Long Live the Queen" and released her first autobiography, Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat and Freaks.

In addition to stand up, Lampanelli is also a regular on the talk show circuit, including "The Tonight Show", "Jimmy Kimmel" and "Chelsea Lately." She is also a frequent guest and guest host on Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio shows. She has also dabbled in acting, having appeared in "Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector" and alongside Bill Engvall, Larry the Cable Guy and D.J. Quall in "Delta Farce". Her big screen credentials also include roles in the "The Aristocrats" and Steven Brill's "Drillbit Taylor." Lisa has also recently been cast in "The Twylight Zones", a film directed by The Sopranos creator David Chase.

"Lisa Lampanelli: Tough Love," is executive produced by Lampanelli, Maggie Houlehan, J.P. Williams and Alan Blomquist. The special is produced and directed by Dave Higby for Parallel Entertainment.
