"The Hardest Part" - When Pete's brother, Adam (Kyle Secor), brings their sick mother (Louise Fletcher) for a consult, Pete discovers her illness may be his brother's fault. Meanwhile, in the wake of her book's success, Violets walks in on Sheldon just as he's about to take her archenemy on a date, and Cooper treats a young musical prodigy whose brain tumor could prevent him from ever playing the piano again, on "Private Practice," THURSDAY, MARCH 31 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

"Private Practice" stars Kate Walsh as Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery, Tim Daly as Dr. Pete Wilder, Audra McDonald as Dr. Naomi Bennett, Paul Adelstein as Dr. Cooper Freedman, KaDee Strickland as Dr. Charlotte King, Brian Benben as Dr. Sheldon Wallace and Caterina Scorsone as Dr. Amelia Shepherd, with Taye Diggs as Dr. Sam Bennett and Amy Brenneman as Dr. Violet Turner.

Guest starring Alex Kingston as Marla, Louise Fletcher as Frances, Kyle Secor as Adam Wilder and Vanessa Marano as Casey. "The Hardest Part" was written by Jennifer Cecil and directed by Paul Adelstein.

"Private Practice" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
